Where are you located?

What are your hours?

Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Saturdays 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Wedding Consultations are available by appointment only.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept only cash and check.

What kind of icing do you use? 

We only use our signature icing. It is not  a buttercream, it more closely resembles the taste of whipped cream but with more of the texture of a mousse. It is light, not overly sweet and can be smoothed similar to fondant (without the added cost!) 

Do you make gluten free, vegan or nut free desserts?

Unfortunately we do not make gluten free or vegan desserts. While many of our products do not contain nuts, we cannot guarantee they have not come in to contact with nuts or nut oils at any point. For these types of desserts we recommend the following bakeries:

Can you decorate my cake to match a particular design or theme?

Yes! Custom cakes are our specialty. Please note that artwork, color matching and fondant sculpture are time-consuming and therefore incur extra charges. Please consult us for a price quote.

Will you copy Mickey Mouse®, Elmo®, Thomas the Train®, etc. onto my cake?

No. All of these types of characters (and many invitation designs) are protected by copyright law, which we will NOT break. We often draw background scenes so that you may place figures on the cake, or defer to a more general theme with matching colors and style.

How do I schedule a wedding cake consultation?

We accept appointments by telephone only so give us a call at 440.331.2950. We offer consultations on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. -6 p.m. Saturday appointments are available only on holiday weekends and during the winter months. Our Saturdays are dedicated to the couples marrying on that day, as we will give you the same attention on your special day.

What happens during a consultation?

You will have the opportunity to look through our portfolios and show us what designs details appeal to you. We also encourage you to bring in cake photos, color schemes, china patterns and whatever else you think may inspire us.  And the best part, or so we hear, is the box of cake samples that you will take home to taste.

How do I reserve my wedding date?

We require a $100 non-refundable deposit. This deposit will be put towards the total cost of your cake. The final payment is due two weeks prior to your wedding date.

Do you make cupcakes for weddings?

Yes. Cupcakes are usually elaborately decorated so they are generally more expensive than a tiered wedding cake.

Can I add layers of styrofoam to make my cake taller?

Yes, but it is not recommended as a means of cost-savings. There is still a cost to decorate the styrofoam, so you might as well just get cake!

Is there a delivery fee to my reception venue?

Maybe. Wedding venues in downtown Cleveland and the west suburbs do not incur a delivery charge. Please inquire if your venue does incur a delivery charge.

Do you make centerpiece cakes for weddings?

Yes. You generally purchase more cake than necessary to serve the number of guests at each table. However, you offset the cost of a floral centerpiece. This can become an interactive part of your reception as guests move around to other tables to see what flavors of cake are offered. 

What can I expect to pay for a sculpted cake?

Scultped cakes are just that, sculpture. They are unique, edible works of art and are priced accordingly. They generally start at $200.
