Thank you for considering us to make your wedding cake for your special day! Weddings are our specialty and we will work with you every step of the way to create the custom cake you desire.
What is the first step?
Wedding cakes feeding +100 guests require 3 tiers or more and we invite you to schedule a consultation with our wedding consultant to begin the process of designing your cake. Wedding cake consultations are typically scheduled up to a year prior prior to the wedding date and last for approximately an hour. Appointments are scheduled through our website under "book an appointment" in the wedding menu. We offer appointments on Tuesdays (4 p.m. & 5 p.m.), and Wednesdays & Thursdays on the hour from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. We also offer Friday morning appointments from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., as well as Saturday morning appointments from 9 a.m. until noon. All design consultations are done virtually to provide the greatest flexibility and convenience to our couples. Prior to your consultation we will have you review our portfolio and you can pick up your sample box either prior to or after your consultation (you specify your sample box pick up date when you schedule your consultation). Your virtual consultation will then be spent going over designs that you liked, incorporating anything such as monograms or colors that you provide and going over cake flavors/fillings and cost (if applicable). For couples that do not have their cake provided by us through their package at their venue there is a $20 cost for the sample box, however if you book with us that cost goes towards your final cake balance.
How much does a wedding cake cost?
Average cost per slice ranges from $4.00-$4.75. This pricing includes basic decorations done with our signature icing. The galleries shown here are but a small example of our cakes, so don't feel as those you are limited to these designs!
Cakes with our Swiss Meringue Buttercream are an additional $2 per slice.
Fondant-covered cakes start at $7.00 per slice. You do not need to fondant-cover a cake to get it smooth, however certain designs do require that the cake be fondant-covered. Labor-intensive design elements such as airbrushing, metallics, swags, fondant bows, rhinestones, chocolate work or painting do incur extra design charges.
How do I secure your services for my wedding date?
We require a deposit of $100 to "Save the Date" with us. It is non-refundable but goes towards the final balance of your cake (packages excluded).
Is there a delivery fee?
Please inquire if your reception site does incur a delivery fee. The fee is calculated according to the distance we must travel.
We do have a variety of cake stands available to rent. Please ask your wedding consultant about the options available for your wedding date. While we bring the stand to set up the cake, you are responsible for returning the stand to us the week after the reception. However we do not provide any toppers or flowers. If you wish to have these elements, you must coordinate with your appropriate vendors. We will gladly put any toppers, flowers, etc. on your cake when we set it up if they are left at the reception venue.
